[When the feed turns on Yuuri’s sitting under a tree, a Horsea next to him and a Teddiursa sitting in his lap.] So, I caught a few gym battles the other day and it looks like the leader only uses Flying type pokémon. Since I’m planning on taking them on sometime, what type does well against Flying?

[He pauses for a moment and his Teddiursa hops out of his lap and begins looking through the bag at his side.] Also, I was wondering… Is there anywhere nearby that sells clothes? I haven’t really looked at any of the stores in Violet City yet, but I’d still like to buy a change of clothes sometime. The ones I got don’t really suit me. [And at that moment, the Teddiursa pulls out that extra outfit and takes off. It takes a second for Yuuri to notice but when he does, all of the color drains from his face.]

Did you time that or something?! Get back here! [He gets up from his place under the tree and makes a mad dash for the pokémon, turning off the feed in the process.]

Aaa-- It's really not that bad, honest! Just every now and then things are strange.

[He smiles in relief at that.] I think I can handle that. It was like that in the world I came from.

Lots of weird happenings?

[He nods.] There were more than I could count.

That must have kept things pretty interesting.

Interesting is definitely a way to put it...

That bad?

Not all of it was bad, but my life was in danger a couple of times.

That's never a good situation to be in... But it looks like it all turned out all right. After all, you're here, right? [[a smile]]

That's right. Plus I had people I could count on.

[[and his small grows warm at that]] That's good to hear. No matter what the situation, if you have people like that, I think you can get though anything. [[so it was almost a friendship speech. He can't help it.]]

[Yuuri never minds a friendship speech, so he nods with a smile of his own.]

Yeah. It'd be tough to try and get through everything on your own anyway.

[[a nod]] Yeah. I think that's one of the wonderful things about this place. Between everybody here and the pokemon... there's no need to go through things on your own.

There really isn't. People here are willing to help someone even without knowing them. It's great. [And it's what he'd like to be able to see in his own world one day.]

It really is. I think because everyone's in the same situation, everyone understands how it feels. [[much different than transferring schools. Much nicer]]

I think so too. I can't even imagine go through this sort of thing by myself.

I'm the same way! Maybe with all of my team with me, but even then...

[He shakes his head.] Having people with you would still make things easier.

Yeah. Having people always makes things better. [[such a warm smile. So very happy to have friends. So happy.]]

Definitely. Even though the pokéon act like people most of the time.

Un, sometimes. Though more like children, some of them.

[[There's an indignant screech from off screen as Amane lets her displeasure at that comparison be known. Speaking of child like pokemon....]]

Yeah. That's what Teddiursa is like. [especially sent she took off with his bathing suit...]

Amane-chan's the worst. [[said so fondly.]] But I suppose that's partly my fault for naming her that.

I bet you really don't mind it though.

... Even though she embarrassed me a little, I don't like Teddiursa any less.

I really don't. [[a warm, fond smile]] She'd have to do a lot more than just be a bit of a brat at times to make me not like her.
