[When the Gear turns on, for a few seconds all that can be seen is the sky. Then, a hand reaches over and into the view of the camera as someone picks up the Gear. It soon shifts over to point down at Yuuri, who is laying down on the grass, his Horsea lying next him.] It’s really hot out here. Is it always like this? I wish there was a swimming pool or something around here...

[He sighs and wipes a hand across his forehead.] Anyway, I was wondering… Where exactly am I? I mean I know what pokémon are but I can’t really be in that world, right? After all, it’s just a game. [He laughs a little.] This all has to be a dream or some elaborate prank. I mean, I get that this kind of thing happens in fiction a lot, but the possibility of it actually happening is really low.

So, well, what I’m trying to say is… How exactly do I wake up from this dream?

Good. I get to be an actual trainer, huh... I'll admit that it's kind of exciting, but it also sounds like a lot of work.

It's not too much work. Most of the work is keeping the pokemon in line, really! [[A small, almost embarrassed laugh. Oooh, he's had trouble with that category...]] Though some of them are very agreeable so no trouble at all.

I think I'll be fine with mine, right Bandou-kun? [The Horsea next him snuggles up closer and Yuuri laughs.]

Have you had any trouble?

Only a little. Amane-chan is a bit of a handful, but not malicious or anything like that.

[[and as if responding to her name being mentioned, said Misdreavus glides over to sit atop her trainer's head.]]

Ah, so you have to keep a close eye on her.

[He waves at the Misdreavus.]

[[Amane grins in return, looking pretty pleased at being acknowledged.]]

Yeah. Mostly it's just keeping up with her more than anything else!

How many others do you have?

Six others! There's Annin, Gollum, Fuushi, Vasuki, Zoku and Dama. [[one of those names is not like the others.]]

That's a lot to take care of...

Most of them are pretty easy! Zoku never wants to come out of his ball, Gollum tries to take care of the entire group, Fuushi helps keep Amane-chan occupied, Vasuki and Annin are no trouble at all and Dama's like a less troublesome version of Amane-chan in a lot of ways. [[a small laugh]] The only trouble is in making sure they all eat properly! Other than that, they're pretty independent.

If I get along with my future pokémon as well as I do with Bandou-kun, I think it should happen.

So, is there anything else I need to know about this place?

Mmm... well, the first place to go would be Cherrygrove, since that's a proper town with stores and things. But you'll have to walk, there's no buses or anything. Thankfully it's not too far, just a 3 day walk.

A three day walk? I guess it could be worse.

It's a week to get to Violet from there, so the three days is the shortest walk. Though at least afterward you're better prepared!

[He visibly deflates at hearing "a week".]

I don't have to climb up any mountains or anything do I?

I don't think so! There's a map in your bag, it shows the basic lay out. There's a cave one of the roads goes through, but nothing to climb, I don't think.

That's good. I hope the cave isn't too hard to get through.

I haven't been in it yet myself, but enough people have gone through that I don't think it would be too hard. You just have to be careful not to get lost.
